Steve got his start in the construction industry by buying and running a financially distressed water damage and reconstruction company. His construction company grew significantly as a result of the positive response to his work. He eventually founded Allenton Custom Homes and has been successful in the home building industry for many years.
Allen is a pioneer in discussing concerns such as design concepts, “green building” techniques, Feng Shui values, and other topics that can contribute to significant improvements in the industry. His model homes have won top awards in the Central Oklahoma Parade of Homes every year since 2005.
Allen has served on the board of directors of the Central Oklahoma Builders Association for many years and is a member of the Oklahoma State Builders Association’s legislative committee. Allen is married to Megan and has four children: Madison, Jacob, Andrew, and Sydnee. They live in the Oklahoma City area.
