Prosecutors have indicted an Oklahoma erosion-control contractor and a firm manager as part of an alleged price-fixing and bid-rigging conspiracy for solid slab sodding and other contract line items. The indictment alleges that the contractor, Sioux Erosion Control Inc., along with company Vice President BG Biscoe and another employee, conspired with others in the erosion-control sector to raise and maintain prices on state transportation contracts. Several individuals involved in the conspiracy have already pleaded guilty and await sentencing. The government claims that the conspiracy involved bid-rigging and price-fixing on highway projects, including the manipulation of sod prices.
